Minor Requirements
The AMCS Minor requires at least 15 hours, which must be comprised of:
- A 200-level Introductory Course (3 credits) from a list of approved options.
- Distribution Coursework (at least 9 credits):
- At least 3 courses in a single Concentration, 2 of which must be at the upper level
OR
At least 3 courses in 3 different disciplines/fields (2 of which must be at the upper level).
- At least two courses designated by AMCS as "multidisciplinary" (MD). Every semester AMCS posts a list of MD courses on the program's online course listing guide.
Both AMCS 375A (formerly 475), an MD-designated methods seminar required of all majors, and if appropriate the Introductory course may be included in the concentration coursework.
