The Minor

Like the AMCS major, the minor allows for exploration of American culture through study in several disciplines. Minors are required to develop a Concentration (which allows for depth of study in a topic area) OR to take courses in at least 3 disciplines (which encourages breadth), and they also must take at least two Multidisciplinary or MD courses.

Minors seeking ways to enrich their experience may opt to do fieldwork or to take additional MD courses, including the methods seminar required of all majors L98 375A (formerly 475): American Culture: Methods and Visions.
