Distribution Coursework

Distribution Coursework ensures depth and breadth within the AMCS major. It should complement and in some cases speak directly to a student's Disciplinary Foundations (or second major) coursework, and serve as a means of developing an area of "specialization" or focus within a very large field.

The specific requirements include:

• 3 courses in a single Concentration, 2 of which must be at the upper level; AND
• At least 3 courses in 3 different disciplines/fields
  OR
  3 courses in a second Concentration (2 must be at the upper level)
